Dr Morton is a General Paediatrician with a strong passion for international health and humanitarian work, and works for Medecins Sans Frontieres, the world’s largest medical humanitarian organisation. Dr Morton first joined MSF as a field paediatrician in 2014, and has completed placements in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Kenya. Dr Morton is now the medical advisor in paediatrics for MSF operational centre Paris and provides technical support both remotely and in the field for paediatric and newborn care projects around the world.
Dr Morton is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School and completed her paediatric specialisation at Sydney Children’s Hospital. Since completing her training as a General Paediatrician, Dr Morton has worked as a consultant at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, as well as regional hospitals in NSW including Grafton Base and Armidale Hospitals.
