Please call us to discuss fees for other types of appointments
Our Fees
The Paediatric Clinic is a private specialist clinic. Our fees are aligned with the AMA recommended rates for specialist consultations and are set at the discretion of your treating clinician.
We require full payment on the day of consultation. We accept EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa.
After you have paid the full fee for your appointment, we will lodge a claim on your behalf with Medicare Online (providing you have a valid referral for the appointment and your child is registered with Medicare). Families should ensure they have provided bank details to Medicare, so the rebate can be paid into their nominated account, usually on the next business day. If your family has exceeded the Medicare Safety Net threshold for the year your gap payment will be reduced.
Please contact our reception team if you wish to enquire about fees and any out-of-pocket costs associated with your visit.
Cancellation Policy
At The Paediatric Clinic we assist our families with reminders of appointments via SMS. However we ask that you take a clear note of your appointment date at the time of making the booking, as it is your responsibility to manage this and contact us to make changes if you are no longer able to attend your scheduled time.
We ask that you give our Reception team adequate notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. Our clinicians have long waiting lists and if your appointment is not attended, or cancelled at late notice, we are unable to fill the spot. This means that appointment times are lost, that could have been used to help other children and their families.

Prescriptions
If your child is known to us and recently seen in the Clinic, we can provide you with a repeat prescription for a minimal charge.

There is usually a rebate available for medical consultations through Medicare, if a valid referral is provided. Your Medicare rebate can be processed at the time of payment and usually takes 24-48 hours to deposit in to your account. Consultation without medical referral is available, but are not eligible for rebates through Medicare.
